Play Ball! The Soft Kind

Children in the stands, clapping their hands.

Bat got loose, ump said what a goose!

Who knew you can’t run through third, how absurd?

Don’t touch home plate or you took the bait.

Run when there is a pop fly, tag up or they’ll tell yuh buh bye.

Ump said you’re so goofy with verbal volley and boogie!

Catch the outfield softballs when they crush, this grass out here is so lush.

Kid glove, caught it bare hand sort of.

Didn’t have the right shoes… Maybe was the muse:)

Full fail before bail?

Team did well, play-offs baby ring that bell!!

Struck out a lot but somehow still found the sweet spot.

Many mishaps were out shined by resilience, must’ve linked with the small habit of patience. So share a sweet kiss with your love for the moments of bliss

and be good now all y’all kids who are reading this!
